I have worked for over twenty-five years in schools and educational establishments both performing and facilitating workshops. I have worked with students of all ages from early years through to post sixteen in both mainstream and special needs education. I am passionate about inspiring the next generation of storytellers, creative thinkers and confident communicators.

The development of oracy skills is key to providing a rich learning environment across the curriculum for young people of all ages. Storytelling plays a key part in oracy education using speech and language to develop thinking, knowledge, understanding and key communication skills; in turn  supporting emotional health and wellbeing.

"The storytelling workshops were immersive, the children were hooked as were the adults! Hannah was fantastic from booking to delivery and we cannot wait to invite her back in for more storytelling sessions. ."

Headteacher

The children thoroughly enjoyed the storytelling session and so did the teachers. As I sat in my office just outside the room used for the storytelling I heard children saying "that was brilliant", "that was so good". Thank you Hannah for engaging with our pupils so well.

Palm Bay Primary School

It was a fantastic experience enjoyed by all. It was a joy to see how engaged all of the
pupils were, especially the children who it is sometimes hard to engage. I felt it was inspirational to the children.

Our children are always excited and enthralled by Hannah & Oakley's visits to us.

Thank you so much for coming to visit us today. The children have absolutely loved it, early years have been acting out the story all day!

Thank you for providing our children with such an enjoyable experience and with many useful ideas for
our future story telling and writing in school.

South East Essex College

Head of Performing Arts

The storytelling workshops were insightful & very well received, students gained skills in storytelling, spoken word and improvisation. The students were thoroughly engaged by Hannah's performance, 'captivating' were the words used.

Thank you once again for this afternoon. The pupils adored it, as did the members of support staff!

It was such a wonderful opportunity for me to observe the pupils and their responses to you too.

To see how engaged they were was a joy.
